
Longtime member and former president Barbara Rosenau received the Temple Sinai Sisterhood’s WLCJ Torah Fund Woman of Achievement Award on April 2 in recognition of her work within the Jewish community on both a local and national basis.
The former assistant director of the Jewish Theological Seminary Mid-Atlantic Region and director of adult education at Gratz College, she’s been a member of Temple Sinai’s board of directors for 23 years and chaired numerous committees and programs. The former Sisterhood president serves as co-chair of the synagogue’s Israel Advocacy committee.
She’s also on the national board of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism and the national board of MERCAZ USA. In 2015 she attended the 37th World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem as a delegate representing MERCAZ. In addition, the Dresher native is involved with the JFGP Women of Vision on its Israel Grants committee and as an advocate of the Torah Fund.

Scott Furman of RE/MAX Classic in St. David’s was named one of RE/MAX International’s Top 10 agents in the Pennsylvania/Delaware region. Furman sells homes in Montgomery and Delaware counties, specializing on the Main Line. A member of Har Zion Temple in Gladwyne, he’s a supporter of Golden Slipper and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
