Jeffrey Melin and Nancy Young of Meadowbrook announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Lee Melin, to Israel-Marc Kositsky, son of Michael Kositsky and Tania Lissin of Shrewsbury, Mass.
Julia is a graduate of Swarthmore College and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in sociology at Stanford University. Israel received a B.S. in physics from Yale University. He currently works as a manager at Square Capital in San Francisco.
Julia is the granddaughter of Geraldine Young and the late Irving Young of Elkins Park; and the late Henry Melin and Helga Melin, of Tenafly, N.J. Israel is the grandson of Boris Mertvoi and Margaret Tkachman of Shrewsbury, Mass.; and Maria Kositsky and the late Mark Kositsky of Rehovot, Israel.
Sharing in the couple’s happiness are their siblings, Claire Melin, Rachel Kositsky, Eugene Kositsky and Miriam Lissin.
The couple is planning a July 2017 wedding in Bucks County.
