More than 1,000 area seniors were in attendance at the Senior Expo, which took place at the National Guard Armory in Northeast Philadelphia, sponsored by Pennsylvania state Sen. John P. Sabatina. Among the organizations present were state, federal and local agencies; hospitals; health care services; homecare services providers; pharmaceutical providers; housing organizations; and other local businesses providing services to seniors.
