An interfaith gathering of religious leaders, “Stronger Together: In Pursuit of Love and Kindness,” took place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center prior to the start of the Democratic National Convention.

An interfaith gathering of religious leaders, “Stronger Together: In Pursuit of Love and Kindness,” took place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center prior to the start of the Democratic National Convention. DNCC CEO Rev. Leah D. Daughtry delivered remarks, followed by a number of speakers, including Rabbi Jack Moline, executive director of the Interfaith Alliance; Minnesota state Rep. Peggy Flanagan; and Imam Suetwedien Muhammad, founder and general president of the Muslim League of Voters.
Fourteen-year-old Zoe Bailkin, a member of Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel, read a passage of scripture, while musical selections were performed by artists, including Bishop William Henry Murphy III, Stacey Francis and the Hoskins Family.
