First graders at JQuest B’Yachad religious school — consisting of Congregations Adath Jeshurun, Beth Sholom and Kenneseth Israel — gave boxes of new school supplies to Rox Weiss, founder of Rubye’s Kids, as part of their “quest” to become Jewish heroes. Located in Montgomery County, Rubye’s Kids provides school supplies and winter coats and arranges birthday and holiday parties for Philadelphia children living in homeless shelters.
