Norcross Wins NJ First Congressional District Over Newcomer Law

U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross beat Alex Law for the First Congressional District.

U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross will keep his  First Congressional District seat in New Jersey.

 

He beat opponent Alex Law, a 25-year-old Voorhees newcomer who formerly worked as a consultant for International Business Machines Corp., in Tuesday's New Jersey primary.


 

Norcross won with about 70 percent of the vote.

 

In November, he will go up against GOP contender Bob Patterson of Haddonfield,  who was unopposed in the Republican primary.
