AJC Hosts Human Rights Lecture

More than 100 were in attendance at the annual Murray Friedman Memorial Lecture: “Speaking Out for the Voiceless: Protecting the Human Rights of Religious Minorities Worldwide” at the Union League, hosted by American Jewish Committee (AJC).

More than 100 were in attendance at the annual Murray Friedman Memorial Lecture: “Speaking Out for the Voiceless: Protecting the Human Rights of Religious Minorities Worldwide” at the Union League, hosted by American Jewish Committee (AJC). Keynote Speaker Felice D. Gaer, director of AJC’s Jacob Blaustein Institute for the Advancement of Human Rights, urged attendees to take action to raise awareness of religious persecution around the world. The event, co-sponsored by the Bucks County Christian Coalition, honors the legacy of noted Jewish activist and scholar Friedman, the regional director of AJC Philadelphia/Southern N.J. for 40 years.
