Meadowlands Country Club, now under the new ownership of Bruce Goodman, a member of JFRE and a “legend” at JFRE’s most recent Legends and Leaders program, will be hosting its 63rd annual Jewish Community Day to benefit the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
On June 6, Meadowlands Country Club, now under the new ownership of Bruce Goodman, a member of the Jewish Federation Real Estate (JFRE) affinity and a “legend” at JFRE’s most recent Legends and Leaders program, will be hosting its 63rd annual Jewish Community Day to benefit the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Guests can participate in a variety of activities during the day including lunch, a golf tournament with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, cards and board games, cocktails, dinner, entertainment and raffles. Special guest Merrill Reese, the “voice of the Philadelphia Eagles,” will join everyone on the golf course and as the keynote speaker at dinner. The entire community is invited and welcome to enjoy Jewish Community Day at Meadowlands. Then, on June 9, Green Valley Country Club will hold its annual Jewish Community Day. The event will feature golf with 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. shotgun starts, a raffle and the Green Valley Grand Hors D’oeuvre Buffet followed by the program and dessert. The evening’s guest speaker will be Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, vice president of research for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, who will be speaking about the threats facing Israel.
