Rabbi Zach Sitkin has agreed to become assistant rabbi and director of congregational learning at Beth El Synagogue Center in New Rochelle, N.Y., and Lori Landew, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, was named Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report.

Rabbi Zach Sitkin, who grew up in Lansdale, where his family still resides, has agreed to become assistant rabbi and director of congregational learning at Beth El Synagogue Center in New Rochelle, N.Y. Currently rabbi at Congregation Eitz Chaim in Monroe, N.Y., the University of Pittsburgh graduate is completing his final year at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, where he’ll receive a master’s degree in Talmud and Rabbinic Literature on May 17. Prior to that, he served as a rabbinic intern at the Pelham Jewish Center in Pelham Manor, N.Y. and as Robert Kraft Rabbinic Fellow at the Columbia/Barnard Hillel in Manhattan.

Lori Landew, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, was named Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report. The report highlights innovative women who’ve made an impact on their profession. With more than 25 years experience, she’s been providing legal and consulting services to clients in the media and entertainment industries.


Named Philadelphia’s “top entertainment lawyer” by Rock on Philly, Landew has represented the media interests at Drexel University, the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University. She’s also handled many of the top restaurants and hospitality groups across the country, earning her acclaim on the “Best Lawyers in America” list for 2015 and 2016 for Entertainment Law — Motion Pictures and Television.
Among those she’s counseled over the years are Sony Music, Warner Bros. Records, 11-7 Recording Corp., BMG Rights Management, QVC and Stage 3 Productions, Comcast/NBCUniversal, and such cable networks as A&E, AMC, Discovery, Disney, Oxygen, Scripps, The Travel Channel and the Food Network.
