What a difference one day can make. On Feb. 21, more than 600 caring community members volunteered at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s largest day of fundraising and community-building, Super Sunday. Together, at Shir Ami in Bucks County and Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr, these volunteers called thousands of generous supporters who donated more than $1 million to the Jewish Federation. These vital funds will provide safety-net services and strengthen Jewish continuity locally, in Israel and throughout the world.

Key to the day’s success was the leadership of Super Sunday Co-chairs Robin and Steve Katz and Sharon and Joel Freedman. The Jewish Federation extends its deep appreciation to the chairs, volunteers, donors and community partners who brought groups or participated in the Community Showcase. Special thanks to the day’s very kind sponsors: A-Best Vending and Coffee Service, BlankRome, Canada Dry Delaware Valley and Firefly Wireless.
