Members of Congregation Or Hadash in Fort Washington learned about brewing beer, then prepared some of their own to be served during Purim next month. Congregants Deb and Jason Harris, owners of Stone and Key Winery in Montgomeryville — along with a home beer brewing supply business — explained brewing techniques. Or Hadash Rabbi Joshua Waxman taught about the laws and traditions of Purim concerning excessive drinking. The group also designed its own label for its Purim brew.
