The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Jewish Federation Real Estate group (JFRE) kicked off 2016 with the JFRE Members’ Dinner at Union Trust on Jan. 13. It was “a great night of relaxing fun among friends and a terrific way to start the new year,” said Jeff Bartos, Chair of JFRE.
JFRE connects and engages the Jewish community’s real estate professionals through networking, volunteering and fundraising opportunities. While many of the group’s events are open to the community, the dinner was exclusively for JFRE members, real estate professionals who make a personal annual gift of $1,000 or more to the JFRE Fund, the Jewish Community Fund or a combination of the two.
“We are thrilled to have grown JFRE to over 500 members, in addition to the thousands of people who have attended our events over the past seven years,” said Bartos. “Through our members-only programming, we provide a more intimate setting for community leaders to discuss business and philanthropy. We encourage more leaders in our community to become JFRE members, and look forward to continuing to grow the organization so we can raise more dollars and make an even bigger impact in Greater Philadelphia and in Israel.”
JFRE’s next event, Penn Connects: Campus Master Plan on Tuesday, March 29, will be open to all real estate professionals. The event will feature a continental breakfast and an exclusive discussion on the University of Pennsylvania’s development plans from guest speakers Craig Carnaroli, Executive Vice President, and Anne Papageorge, Vice President for Facilities and Real Estate Services.
