A new interfaith chapel at Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line received priestly blessings during a dedication ceremony. The new chapel will enable all residents to celebrate their religions in a dignified space that can be used for Catholic mass, Shabbat services, scripture studies and Protestant services. Rabbi Meryl Crean, chaplain of WEL Main Line, and Monsignor Ralph Chieffo of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Media, Pa., led the chapel’s service and blessing. The dedication service featured songs, scripture readings and remarks from Joseph Paesani of Holy Innocents Parish of Philadelphia, which donated an altar, lectern, table and candlesticks to the chapel.
