The sun was shining brightly on the 850 participants who came out to support the Friendship Circle Philadelphia Region South during its annual Philly Friendship Walk, held at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy. The annual event — which supports the Friendship Circle’s goal of connecting teens and young adults to youth with special needs and their families through a full range of Jewish and social experiences — raised almost $102,000. This year’s theme, “Do Amazing Things,” was brought to life by introducing participants to new adventures such as ziplining and skateboarding lessons. Musical entertainment was provided by the Baal Shem Tov Chasidic Rock Band.
