The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to announce that the Wexner Heritage Program will return to Philadelphia beginning in the summer of 2016. Alumni of the program and other
local donors, led by Ruth Bluethenthal-Appel in memory of her husband and Wexner alum Stuart Appel z”l, coordinated through the Jewish Federation, have generously partnered with Abigail and Leslie
Wexner and The Wexner Foundation to enable another group of outstanding volunteer leaders to benefit from this extraordinary two-year Jewish learning and leadership program.

Program participants will benefit from a dynamic curriculum that includes a series of local seminars and out-of-town institutes in the U.S. and Israel, all led by top scholars, practitioners and professional
leaders in the Jewish world. There is no cost to program participants.

“There are certain opportunities for personal and professional development only accessible through our Jewish Federation,” said Naomi L. Adler, Esq., Jewish Federation CEO. “By bringing this high-level, exclusive opportunity for serious Jewish learning back to Philadelphia, we are taking our commitment to leadership development to the next level.”

The Jewish Federation invites key stakeholders from all Jewish communal organizations to nominate a few outstanding volunteer leaders from their organization, synagogue, community or social networks.
Ideal candidates are between the ages of 30 and 45 and have strong leadership capacity. Candidates must be nominated in order to apply. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.

The Wexner Heritage Program expands the vision of Jewish volunteer leaders through intensive study of Judaism, Jewish history and leadership. Its almost 2,000 alumni exemplify the deepened commitment,
vision and impact that the Wexner program enables. For more information, contact Warren Hoffman at the Jewish Federation at 215.832.0570 or whoffman@jfgp.org. To nominate a candidate, visit wexnerfoundation.org and select the “Wexner Heritage Program.”
