Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia also celebrated the start of its 2015-2016 programming year.
As the Jewish community around the world celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year, Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia also celebrated the start of its 2015-2016 programming year. On Thursday, September 17th, 85 Women’s Philanthropy board members came together at Evviva Restaurant in Narberth for the group’s Opening Board Meeting.
The women enjoyed an inspiring D’var Torah about the New Year from Jewish Federation Chief Program and Strategy Officer Rabbi Deborah Glanzberg-Krainin and a presentation and interactive exercise from board member Betsy Sheerr on how gifts to the Jewish Federation make an impact around the world.
