The deputy consul general of Israel to the mid-Atlantic States heads back to school.

Elad Strohmayer, deputy consul general of Israel to the mid-Atlantic region, went back to school for a special purpose. The diplomat met up with scores of students in grades seven to 11 at Girard College, where he discussed, among other issues, Israel’s recent Knesset elections and international political concerns. The visit was a result of joint collaborations with the Consulate; Clarence D. Armbrister, school president; Girard teacher Priscilla Kelly; and Todd Bernstein of Global Citizen, an organization committed to ending world poverty.
