At Gratz: Portrait of an Artist as a Centenarian

A 100-year-old Gratz College grad gets a big-time art exhibit at the school.

Rose Schmukler (third from left), 100, Gratz College class of 1931, paints a new picture of life on campus as an artist exhibiting at the college’s Leona P. Kramer Gallery. Here she and her daughter, Dr. Anita Schmukler (second from left), get a chance to interact with fellow alumnae, Joy W. Goldstein (left), Gratz president, class of 1977; and author Nomi Eve, class of 1986.
