Throngs show up to celebrate Emily Kramer-Golinkoff's 30th birthday, marking her ongoing battle with cystic fibrosis.
Bala Cynwyd’s Emily Kramer-Golinkoff (bottom, fourth from left) celebrates her 30th birthday and a wish to “Keep the Candles Burning” at an event marking her ongoing successful battle with cystic fibrosis and her serving as top cheerleader for Emily’s Entourage. In partnership with Penn’s Center for Orphan Diseases, EE raises funds targeting the defeat of the disease and educating the public about it. Kramer-Golinkoff is afflicted with a mutation of the disease distinctly affecting Ashkenazi Jews. Joining the fund’s namesake at the third annual gathering (top, from left) are Beth Lavin, Rachel Berkowitz, Ali Lenobel, Amy Inlander, Francesca Brody, Amanda Foskett; (bottom) Ariel Greenstein, Marissa Freeman, Michelle Eber; the “birthday girl”; Lisa Felkins, Julie Wertheimer, Jessica Lazarus, Ivy Kaplin and Kim Caramanica.
