The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and Adath Israel of the Main Line join for a special event at the synagogue.
The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and Adath Israel of the Main Line drew a crowd of 120 to the synagogue recently, where they heard Glenn Kurtz, author of Three Minutes in Poland: Discovering a Lost World in a 1938 Family Film, recount the startling revelations he encountered by tracing the remaining residents of the Polish shtetl of Nasielsk he saw in footage culled from his grandfather’s home movies of World War II. He gifted the film to the museum’s Steven Spielberg Film and Video Archive. Joining speaker Kurtz at the synagogue is Leslie Swift, head of film, oral history and recorded sound at the Holocaust museum.
