Rabbinic Author Serves as Local Scholar-in-Residence

A popular rabbi from Los Angeles spends a weekend as a scholar-in-residence at Adath Israel in Merion Station.

Rabbi Joseph Telushkin proved a perfect “pen pal” as weekend scholar-in-residence at Adath Israel in Merion Station, signing his books for congregants and offering his thoughts on a variety of topical issues.

Telushkin serves as rabbi for the Synagogue of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. He's also the author of Jewish Literacy: The Most Important Things to Know About the Jewish Religion, Its People and Its History, which has become an influential tome on Jewish thought and practices.
