ReelAbilities Film Festival Unspools

The Jewish Family and Children's Service brought its third annual filmfest honoring those with special needs to area screens.

The third annual JFCS ReelAbilities Disabilities Film Festival brought patrons to theaters throughout the region — as well as Martins Run, a senior community facility in Media — where a series of films honoring the roles of individuals with special needs lit up the screens.

Among the films shown: Girlfriend and Praying With Lior.

The Jewish Family and Children's Service program is modeled on a successful similar New York festival.
