Beth El Wins Bucks Jewish Basketball League Championship


Beth El beat out four other contenders to become this year's champions.

Congregation Beth El in Yardley captured the championship of the Bucks Jewish Basketball League with a 46-31 win over Congregation Kol Emet on March 9th. 

The league, in existence for three years, comes together with the help of numerous local parents and coaches, as well as the support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

The league is made up of five teams of 6th-8th graders, representing four local Bucks County congregations and one day school. Abrams Hebrew Academy, Congregation Beth El, Congregation Kol Emet, Ohev Shalom of Bucks County and Shir Ami.
