Philly's Karen Daroff gets a major local plaudit for her work in interior design.
Was it really all that surprising when Karen Daroff was named one of the XIX Most Fashionable Women in Philadelphia when the list was announced at a Nicole Miller function at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue?
After all, her designs, seemingly, say it all. As the Philadelphian related in an essay for the Moore College of Art and Design, her alma mater, her work as an interior designer got a major boost when she founded Daroff Design 40 years ago. In the years since, she has worked with Disney, Universal, Jet Blue and Comcast, among many other notable companies.
