Josh Harris, owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, has, with David Blitzer, purchased the New Jersey Devils in the NHL for $320 million. The deal also includes the lease to the Prudential Center, Newark home of the Devils.

Ronald L. Panitch and Alan S. Nadel of Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel have been elected to the category of The Best Lawyers in America 2014, with Panitch also chosen Lawyer of the Year/Best Lawyers’ 2014 Phila­delphia Litigation —Patent. 

Radio talker/lawyer/author Mark Levin, Cheltenham High pride and joy, has come out with The Liberty Amendments: Res­toring the American Republic. He is also president of the Landmark Le­gal Foundation.

Vicki Edelman and Andrew Weiss have been named by Becker’s ASC Review as two of 116 Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrators to Know. Edelman serves as administrator of the Blue Bell Surgery Center, described by Becker’s as a “four-room, multispecialty ASC that operates with 22 surgical partners and an additional five affiliated physicians.” Weiss is with the Endo Center at Voorhees, a “six-room GI center that performs more than 20,000 procedures a year,” in Voorhees, N.J. 

Dr. Marc S. Cohen and Dr. Nancy G. Swartz of Drs. Cohen & Swartz Cosmetic Surgeons in Bala Cynwyd and Voorhees, N.J., have received a number of “best” honors recently, cited for Best Plastic Surgery by South Jersey Magazine; Best Aesthetic Medicine, Philadelphia Life Magazine; and #1 for Injectables (Bo­tox and Fillers), Girlfriendz Magazine.

Joanne Lippert, co-director of Adult and Senior Services, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, has been named a 2013 Rodkin Fellow of the Jewish Communal Services Association of North America. The honor, one of only six given out, will provide an opportunity for Lippert to study social service agencies in Israel this fall and make her ultimate stop at the JFNA General Assembly in Jeru­salem.
