Sculpted Art on Display
The work of New York artists Douglas Beube and Sandra Jackman will be on exhibit at the Temple Judea Museum of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, 8339 Old York Road in Elkins Park. The exhibit will kick off Sunday, Dec. 11, with a 3 p.m. reception featuring talks by the artists. Beube and Jackman work with sculptural forms related to books, and draw upon media associated with books, assemblage and collage. Beube's exhibit is titled "A Void," and Jackman's "Cautionary Tales." 'Out for Love … Be Back Soon'
The Chester County Region of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, in partnership with the Consulate General of Israel, will present Israeli filmmaker Dan Katzir's docudrama "Out for Love … Be Back Soon" on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., at the Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge St. in Phoenixville.
