Lisa Rochelle Witkin and John Gerald Polevoy were married on Sept. 16 at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia by Rabbi Peter J. Rubinstein.
The bride, 34, a double-board certified physician in anesthesiology and pain medicine, is the site director of pain management at New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital and the site director at Weill Cornell for the Tri-Institutional Pain Management Fellowship. She is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell.
She graduated from The Schreyer Honors College at Pennsylvania State University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in engineering science. She received her medical doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. She is a daughter of Arnold N. Witkin and the late Evelyn D. Witkin of Huntingdon Valley.
Polevoy, 42, is the principal of PREP Advisory Services, a real estate consulting firm in New York City that works with public and private companies. He graduated from The University of Pennsylvania. He received an MBA from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business, where he was a Georgetown MBA scholar, and earned an advanced degree from the New York University Real Estate Institute. He is a son of Nancy T. and Martin D. Polevoy of Manhattan.
The couple met in September 2012 in New York.
