As midnight arrived on the East Coast, it appeared increasingly likely that Donald Trump would retake the presidency — a victory that would reshape the United States and that could change its relationship with Israel while ushering in an administration whose domestic priorities do not match those of most American Jews.

That victory was confirmed early Wednesday morning when news agencies called Wisconsin for Trump, confirming that he had passed the 270 electoral vote threshold needed to win.

The tally made clear that Trump had successfully convinced a majority of voters to return him to the White House after a four-year hiatus that included an attempted insurrection by his supporters; felony convictions; and allegations of authoritarianism by officials who worked with him.

For many Jews, Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel — which launched a multi-front war and sparked a global surge in antisemitism — has shaped the campaign. The war split the Democratic Party, whose progressive wing pushed Harris to temper her support for Israel, and each campaign accused the other of being antisemitic, anti-Israel and fascist.

  1. What another embarrassing, one sided article attacking Donald Trump in an attempt to support the radical Democratic nominee Kamala Harris’ and her fellow Democrats. The felony convictions were an election timed law fare attack not only on Trump but also on the fairness of our election system. The “right-wing,” highly acclaimed legal analyst and fellow Jew Alan Dershowitz, among many other non biased, well respected lawyers agree with this statement. The insurrection was a riot, one in which Trump was never tried for instigating since there was no evidence that he caused it and in fact offered 10,000 national guard troops to prevent it.
Trump’s “draconian pledges on immigration” demanded that the huge illegal invasion of our southern border be stopped, since it violated the principle that nobody is above the law, our immigration laws in this case. The Exponent supported this principle. when it was being used to attack Trump but now strangely ignores it. Millions of unvetted foreigners simply made their way to our southern border and were waved in by the Biden-Harris policies. How many of them are murderers, rapists and terrorists nobody knows, and the Biden-Harris administration obviously couldn’t care less about finding out.
What the above facts show, beyond any doubt, is that the radicalized, anti-Israeli Democratic party will do anything to cling onto power. Anything includes using the criminal-justice system to attack their opponent, lying continually to demonize him and using the biased media to support their calumny. It’s all about winning and nothing else matters. Sadly the Exponent is part of the problem, not the solution.
