Anna (nee Muchnik) and Mitchell Toren announce the birth of their daughter, Ava Madison (Hava Miriam), on Dec. 23.

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Mel and Fayette Toren, Yelena Muchnik and Boris Muchnik, as well as Aunt Jen, Uncle Barry and cousin Griffin Toren.

Ava is named in loving memory of her maternal great-grandmother Eva Gecht and her paternal great-grandmother Marion Selkow.
