Tension: Jewish experience-by-nature: The poet writes, “Each morning, the Jew wakes up with a stomach ache.”

This sense of discomfort may well be a reflection of the rabbinic perception that tension is the essence of   existence.

Rabbi Howard Bogot's  seminar will examine biblical and post-biblical texts as lenses through which to view this insight into Jewish identity.
