Ethical decision -- and they got the right one for the job! Prominent attorney Louis W. Fryman has been re-elected to the top spot of chairman of the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission. Fryman, a legend among Philly legal eagles, is an attorney at Conrad O'Brien. ... Mercy, mercy, mercy! Jay Stein, who serves as associate vice president of risk management at Mercy Health System, is the president-elect for 2012 of the Philadelphia Area Society for Health Care Risk Management. ... Righteous is right! Especially when it comes to
Rosemarie Zoto; the Nazareth Academy grad who went on to Temple University has just been honored "as a follower in the path of the Righteous Gentiles," from the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Zoto, whose interest in the Holocaust was piqued by her reading of Leon Uris' Mila 18 while at Nazareth, was cited "for helping rescue needy Jews from exile and bringing them home to Israel." ... Eighteen's a great number to celebrate the chai-life, Jon Waxman would tell you. And he can: Waxman's Lee's Hoagie House of Abington -- he's also involved in ownership of two other area Lee's -- was just named (with the one in Horsham) for the 18th (!) straight year purveyor of the best hoagie by the Reader's Choice Awards of Montgomery Newspapers. ... Right back at ya: Dr. Todd Albert, prexy of the Rothman Institute, has been named one of "207 Spine Surgeons & Specialists to Know" by "Becker's ASC Review," a guide to ambulatory surgery centers. ... Are there no boundaries to? Post-Congress, there was that comedy night gig in which he reportedly acquitted himself pretty, pretty good (as Larry David might say; alas, David wasn't in the audience that night). Then there's the reading he'sdoing of his memoirs with its filibuster of a title, Life Among the Cannibals: A Political Career, a Tea Party Uprising, and the End of Governing as We Know It, on March 29 at the Free Library of Philadelphia. And now, with wife/former City Councilwoman, Joan, he's being honored by the Perelman Jewish Day School on May 30 at the National Museum of American Jewish History. What's next -- filling in for Ryan Howard? ... Kids, who can tell what's wrong with these kids today! Nothing wrong when they're guided by Dr. Lee Pachter and Margaret Sayers. The chief of general pediatrics at St. Christopher's Hospital, Pachter joined children's psychologist Sayers in keynoting a conference on "Parenting in the 21st Century," hosted by Abington Friends School. Their topic: "De-stressing Your Child: Fostering Your Child's Physical and

Emotional Wellness." ... Sometimes it takes a sixthsense to get things done in the local film community -- which means director M. Night Shyamalan and his wife, Bhavna, were the perfect couple to head a long line of celebs saluting Sharon Pinkenson on her 20th anniversary as exec director of the Greater Philadelphia Film Commission. The event was held at the Shyamalan's suburban home. Wonder if anyone filmed it?
