Herb and Diane Cohen of Weston, Fla., and Julia Yassen of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their children, Robin Slipakoff and Darren Yassen.

Robin is a teacher in Plantation, Fla. Darren works as a financial consultant with Bank of America.

The couple, who lives in Sunny Isles, Fla., is planning a summer wedding.
