Sherrie Raiken Savett of Bryn Mawr, and Stuart and Maxine Savett of West Conshohocken announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren, to Marc Hausman, son of Bruce and Barbara Hausman of Roseland, N.J.

Lauren attended Boston University's School of Communications. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in advertising. She is currently working at Hulu in New York City.

Marc attended the University of Massachusetts. He graduated with a business degree, majoring in business management. Marc is an owner of Footnotes, a chain of several high fashion shoe boutiques in northern New Jersey, which was started by his grandfather in 1946.

Lauren is the granddaughter of Frances Raiken and the late Nathan I. Raiken of Audubon; and the late Lee and Al Savett of Broomall. Marc is the grandson of the late Stanley B. Hausman, the late Margaret Bigel, the late Jerome H. Scher and the late Dorothy S. Scher.

The couple, who lives in New York City, is planning a June wedding in Philadelphia.
