Myril Wood Sady, 85, cherished mother of Lisa Rosenthal (Arnold) and Michele Golembeski (Jim), beloved grandmother of Becky, Gregory, Netan, and Andrew, and devoted wife of the late Victor Sady, passed on April 29, 2013. Myril is also survived by her dearly loved sister Lola Geselowitz and nieces and nephews. Myril was the eldest daughter of Reba and Fred Wood, was born in Philadelphia and also grew up in New York City. Myril's marriage to Victor spanned 54 years, including residences in Northeast Philadelphia, Wyndmoor and Willow Grove. Myril also resided in downtown Philadelphia. Myril's beautiful spirit was evident to all who knew and loved her, on the outside for all to admire and on the inside for us to treasure. She had a dramatic flair for glamor and gracefulness, was generous beyond compare and showered her love openly on all of us. Myril's priority was always her family, and her devotion and love created a home that saw many joyous holiday gatherings full of grandchildren and family. During her young adult years, Myril helped her parents at their Philadelphia area children's clothing stores where she was a natural salesperson, and she was also employed as a PBX telephone operator and a fragrance model in local department stores. May Myril's memory be for a blessing and may we strive to honor the many lessons that she taught us as we live in the world that she so dearly loved.
