Cooking, dining, learning and tzedakah were all on the menu at the April 15 Federation Women's Philanthropy Ruby Lions event, featuring Chef Michael Solomonov from Philadelphia's award-winning Zahav restaurant.
The event, which celebrates the generosity of women who make a minimum gift of $10,000 to the Federation annual campaign, was held at the home of Amy Stein, who served as event co-chair, along with Susanna Lachs Adler and Lyn Neff. Lynne Barrack was honorary chair of the program.
Ruby Lions raise more than $2 million annually for the local Jewish community.
At this event, they raised an additional $140,000 toward fulfilling the theme of "Nourishing and Nurturing the Jewish Community."
