MONA SUE ROSENFELD (nee KONELL), age 56, of Gladwyne, PA, passed away on February 12, 2014 in her home. She was born on October 3, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA. MONA was the loving wife of MARK ROSENFELD, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage. She was the loving, caring, and devoted mother of RACHEL ROSENFELD and husband JOHN and DANIELLE ROSENFELD and fiance JASON. Dear sister of FAYE STEELE and husband OSCAR and HEDY KAHN. Her first priority was her family, putting time with family over all else. She also enjoyed playing tennis and was an excellent player. She loved to play with and coach her star tennis player, DANIELLE. Other pastimes included reading, travel with her family, and mahjong. Early in her career, MONA was an Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center, specializing in inhalation therapy. She then worked at Torre Menswear in management for over 28 years. Her hard work ethic was unmatchable; her thriftness exceptional and there was not anything she could not do. She was a brilliant woman who excelled in whatever she put her mind to. She always had a positive outlook with lots of spunk and drive. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Melanoma Research and Patient Care Fund at Abramson Cancer Center at University of Pennsylvania (http://givingpages.upenn.edu/rememberingMona).
