Congregation Rodeph Shalom of Center City commemorated the impending retirement of Rabbi Bill Kuhn after 23 years with an April 8 gala at Vie. Rabbi Peter Rubinstein, rabbi emeritus of Central Synagogue in New York City and director of Jewish life at the 92nd Street Y, served as a guest speaker at the event, which was attended by more than 350 people. It raised funds for the William I. Kuhn Gratitude Fund in support of future Rodeph Shalom ventures.
