More than 200 current and prospective members of Federation’s Renaissance Group rocked the house at Philadelphia’s Pyramid Club during the group’s inaugural Young Leadership Celebration. These young professionals danced to the music of DJ Danny Estrella while raising $95,803 for the 2013 Federation Annual Campaign.

Mitch Sterling, Renaissance chair, said that this tally was particularly impressive as “more than 60 percent of the celebrants were first-time givers to Federation at a level of more than $180.” Sterling added that four of the guests were inspired by the spirit of the evening to increase their contributions to more than $1,000 per person — qualifying them for membership in the prestigious Ben Gurion Society.

Jason Cole, Jeffrey Fishman, Marc Prine and Danielle M. Weiss served as chairs of the event. They are grateful to the five event sponsors: Blank Rome; Phyllis and Howard Fischer; Grant Thornton, LLP; Williams and Hand and Lisa Coben for their generous support.
