Maury and Penny Reiter, and Wendy Balk and James Balk announce the engagement of their children, Genna Leigh Reiter and Adam Jacob Balk.

Genna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education from Towson University. She completed a master's degree in counseling from Fordham University. Genna has taught life skills for the School District of Philadelphia for the past two years.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania. He is currently the director of Play by Play Sports Broadcasting Camps.

The couple is planning an October 2012 wedding.
