The Myer and Rosaline Feinstein Center for American Jewish History promotes the study of Jewish experience in America. Founded in May 1990, it is part of Temple University's Department of History in the College of Liberal Arts.

Radical Jewish Philadelphia: Arts Forum & Symposium

An interdisciplinary Arts & Public History Project inspired by the left-wing Jewish community of Philadelphia from the 1930’s and beyond. Radical Jewish Philadelphia, a symposium held in celebration of the opening of Jews and Leftist Politics in Philadelphia - An Oral History Collection , a new archive to be housed in Temple University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center, will include a keynote address by leading scholar of the American-Jewish left Tony Michels (University of Wisconsin-Madison), an exhibition of students' artworks, dance and theater performances, and a participatory oral history listening project. Collaboratively developed by Tyler’s Community Arts Practices Program, the Feinstein Center for American Jewish History, and Temple University Libraries. Exhibition open from April 25 – April 30, 2014.

Free and open to the public. Registration Required.
