Start your day with a song and join us for a multimedia presentation of Yiddish klezmer, folk and theater songs from video and film clips from the Jewish Sound Archive at the University of Pennsylvania. This special program will be presented by the curators, Bob and Molly Freedman.
The University of Pennsylvania Library is the beneficiary of the Freedmans’ years of commitment to collection and cataloging, having acquired the Freedmans’ archive of over 20,000 folk and art songs, theater music, comedy klezmer music, cantorials, Chassidic music, spoken word, and Jewish music in Ladino and other Judaic languages.
So, come one come all and have a delightful morning presentation and breakfast.
