Vic and Marilyn Cherry of Bensalem announce the birth of their first grandchild, Shane Daniel Cherry, on May 27.

The parents are Jamie and Matthew Cherry of Marietta, Ga.

Sharing in their joy are first-time grandparents Robin and Lou Scaringi of Pottstown.

Joining in welcoming the new addition are uncles Mike and Joe Scaringi, as well as Uncle Jeff and Aunt Maryann Ostroff, Uncle Steve and Aunt Sandy Napp, and Uncle Jay and Aunt Aileen Glestein.

Also celebrating the occasion are cousins Stephanie and Melissa Ostroff, Melanie Napp, and Michele and Madison Trichter, along with great-grandparents Theresa and Harvey Baldwin.

Shane Daniel is named in loving memory of his maternal great-grandmother Sherry Brooks Ostroff and his paternal great-grandfather David Cherry.
