Alan and Jodie Gold of Bryn Mawr announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Kari Gold, to James Patrick Russell, son of James and Juliann Russell of Amityville, N.Y.

 

Allison, a 2004 graduate of Radnor High School, attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication. She is a project manager for Maxvantage, specializing in pharmaceutical meeting and event planning.  

 

James is a graduate of Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in management.  He is an asset management executive for Siemens Healthcare in Malvern.

 

Allison is the granddaughter of Marilyn and Ralph Cohen of Sarasota, Fla.; and Leanore Gold of Teaneck, N.J. James is the grandson of Ethel Bogdano-wich of Amityville, NY., and the late Patrick Bogdanowich; and Judith Russell of Chicago and the late John Russell.

 

Sharing in the couple’s joy are Allison’s sister and brother-in-law, Abbie and Darrin Kaucher, along with James’ sister, Emily Russell.

 

The couple is planning a November wedding in Villanova.
