Marcia and Ronald Abraham of Richboro announce the marriage of their daughter, Nina Faryl Abraham, to Michael Howell Marino, son of Gloria and Joseph Marino of North Branford, Conn.
The ceremony took place on May 7 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
Rabbi Brian Leiken, brother-in-law of the bride, and Cantor Mark Elson officiated. Opening remarks were made by Rabbi Elliot Strom.
Sharing in the couple's wedding day were their siblings: groomsman Adam Abraham, matron of honor Shara Abraham, and bridesmaid Jennifer Calvo, along with brothers-in-law Brian Leiken and Steve Calvo, who were groomsman. Nephews Kaleb and Ari Leiken served as ring bearers.
The bridal party also included best men Gerard Downes and Elliott Maruffi-Cowley; groomsmen Brendan Curley and Everett Katzen; and bridesmaids Andrea Baglien, Shari Isserles, Amanda Lehman, Felice Shapiro and Na Young.
Nina is the granddaughter of the late Kay and Ned Swerdlow, and the late Lillian and Morris Abraham. Michael is the grandson of Lee Ballard, the late Nicholas Marino, and the late Antonia and Howell Reeves.
The signing of the ketubah was witnessed by Felice Shapiro and Elliott Maruffi-Cowley.
Nina is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Jefferson Medical College. She completed a dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and is currently in a dermatopathology fellowship at St. Louis University.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Delaware and the Temple University School of Medicine. He completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Temple University Hospital and is currently in a neuro-rehabilitation fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
The couple, who lives in St. Louis, honeymooned in Greece. Nina and Mike will return to the Philadelphia area following completion of their fellowships in July.
