Sherry and Brian Effron of Bryn Mawr; Glenn and Dawn Heilweil of Palm Beach, Fla.; and Theodora and Argyrios Michos of Greece announce the engagement of their children, Kimberly Joy Heilweil and Georgios Michos.

Kimberly graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She works as the luxury director of W magazine in New York City.

George graduated from Aristotle University in Greece with a bachelor's degree in economics. He went on to earn an MBA in finance and investments, as well as a master's degree in quantitative methods and modeling, at the Baruch College School of Business. He works as a trader at Centurion Capital in New York City.

Sharing in the couple's joy are Kimberly's grandparents, Marion Caplan, and Flora and Jerry Heilweil; and her siblings Scott Heilweil, Danny and Greg Effron, and Michelle Hope; along with George's grandmother, Anna Sarafidou.

The couple is planning an October wedding in Palm Beach.
