Dr. Harold and Linda Yaffe of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Yaffe, to Neal Sprafkin, son of Dr. Robert Sprafkin and the late Barbara Sprafkin of Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Ms. Yaffe is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is currently employed at the Office of Property Assessment for the City of Philadelphia.

Mr. Sprafkin is a graduate of Trinity College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also holds a Master of Arts degree from Emerson College. He is the CEO of My Pet Enterprises, Inc.

The couple, who lives in Center City, is planning a September wedding.
