Susan and Arnold Baskies of Cherry Hill, N.J., announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Lyn, to Scott Phillip Kramer, son of Pamela and Jack Kramer of Northbrook, Ill.
Pammy is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and accounting. She was an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan, and then an associate in News Corporation's corporate development group. Pammy will complete work toward a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business this month. In August, she will join PepsiCo's brand finance team in Chicago.
Scott is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served on the Law Review. He is an associate with Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago.
Pammy is the granddaughter of the late Mary and Morris Baer, and the late Zelda and Max Baskies. Scott is the grandson of June Fisher and the late Leonard Fisher, and Edwin Kramer and the late Ila Utay.
The couple is planning an Aug. 1 wedding in Cherry Hill.
