Rachel is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history and communications. She works for Gurr Johns, Inc., an art advisory and appraisal firm in New York.
Jonathan also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science engineering. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. Jonathan works for Garden Homes, a real estate development firm in Short Hills, N.J., which was founded by his grandfather and great-uncle more than 50 years ago.
Rachel is the granddaughter of Barbara Krimsky, the late Gilbert Cohen, the late Steve Krimsky, and the late Rosalie Madnick. Jonathan is the grandson of Marilyn Schwartz and the late Marven Schwartz, and Joseph and Elizabeth Wilf.
Sharing in the couple's happiness are Rachel's sister and brother-in-law, Erica and Jeremy Schafer; and Jonathan's siblings, Jason, Elana, Stephanie and sister-in-law Cori.
The couple is planning a March wedding in Philadelphia.
