The Meyers Library; Women of Keneseth Israel and The Temple Judea Museum are co-sponsoring an exhibition in the Temple Judea Museum entitled “Circles Within Circles: Jewish Time Frames.” It features photography by Lloyd Wolf and Poetry by Sherri Waas Shunfenthal. It is an innovative and beautifully thoughtful body of work that explores aspects of time as understood and expressed in Judaism. The exhibit opens on Sunday February 3 and runs through March 15.
On Sunday February 3 at 1pm in the Chapel, poet Sherri Waas Shunfenthal will explain the themes of the exhibition and share some of her poetry. Visitors may visit the gallery and absorb the spiritual nature of the work.
On the following Sunday morning, February 10, at 10am in the Meyers Library, Lynn Rosen, Library co-chair, will guide participants in creating innovative and expressive interpretations of “Jewish Time” during a prayer and poetry writing workshop with the exhibition as a stimulus.
Both programs are free and open to the community. Refreshments will be served. For more information contact:
