Chad and Jamie (nee Hurvitz) Friedman announce the birth of their daughter, Samantha Rose (Sheva Rachel), on April 5.

Sharing in their happiness are grandparents Nate and Roslyn Friedman of Bensalem, and Jay Hurvitz of Lafayette Hill.

Joining in welcoming the new arrival are Uncle Scott Friedman and Aunt Mandi Hurvitz.

Samantha Rose is named in loving memory of her maternal grandmother Sharon Rose (nee Smilk) Hurvitz.
